In conjunction with OKK, BTR Engineering, LLC provided consulting engineering services for the cost effective remodeling of an existing 5,114 s.f. space into a new restaurant concept located at 59 W. Grand Ave. in Chicago. New kitchen exhaust systems for both gas and solid fuel burning cooking appliances were designed. The existing tight ceiling spaces as well as limited back of house areas made for a challenging mechanical design. New lighting was provided and other existing utilities were reused to serve the new spaces.
