Project: Rush Copley Medical Center – Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) Addition
In conjunction with Anderson Mikos Architects, BTR Engineering, LLC provided consulting engineering services for the 2-story, 24,000 s.f. NICU addition to the existing hospital obstetrics wing. The project is being designed for a future vertical expansion. MEP components include: a new high efficiency air cooled modular chiller cross connected to the existing facility chilled water system, dedicated fan wall air handling unit, expansion of the hospital normal power switchboard, new medical air and vacuum pumps and an extension of the building emergency power, fire alarm and nurse call systems.
